This Privacy Policy explains how OptimalAI (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or
“our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in
connection with the DailyFlows mobile application and related services
(collectively, the “Service”).
Summary: DailyFlows is designed to help you manage tasks, create notes,
generate or share cards, and use optional AI features. We do not sell
your personal information and we do not use the advertising identifier
for tracking across apps and websites.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information in the following categories:

Account and profile information. Such as a user ID,
display name, avatar, and (if provided through sign-in) email
address.

Content you create or upload. Such as tasks, notes,
cards, preferences, bookmarks, and images you upload or generate.

AI inputs and outputs (optional). If you use AI
features, we process the text you submit (for example, prompts,
notes, or chat messages) and/or images you provide, and the AI
outputs generated for you.
When you use AI features, we may transmit the following categories of data to third-party AI providers so they can generate outputs:
- Text inputs you submit (for example: chat messages, note text/transcripts, card fields like recipient/occasion/tone, and plan preferences).
- Images you select for AI image generation (if you use AI Magic Art).
- Device context such as language/locale and time zone (to localize output and date/time formatting).
- Optional profile or wellness-related data you provide (for example: age, height, weight, body fat, activity level) when generating personalized plans, if available.
We only send AI-related inputs when you actively trigger an AI feature.

Voice and speech data (optional). If you use voice
input, we access your microphone for speech recognition. The Service
may generate transcripts from your speech for display and saving in
notes.

Contacts (optional). If you choose to import
contacts to find friends, the Service can access contacts on your
device. We may upload selected contact email addresses to our server
to match them with existing users. We do not upload your entire
address book unless you choose to import it, and we do not send SMS
messages without your action.

Location (optional). If you allow location access,
we may process your approximate location to provide local weather or
location-based features.

Notification tokens. If you enable push
notifications, we collect and store a device push token and platform
(iOS/Android) so we can deliver notifications.

Subscription and purchase information. Subscription
purchases are processed by Apple (App Store). We may receive
subscription status/entitlements (for example, premium access) via
our subscription service providers to enable paid features.

Technical and usage information. Such as IP
address, timestamps, app events required to operate features,
diagnostic logs, and security-related signals.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- provide, operate, and maintain the Service;

sync your content across devices and store your data in the cloud;

enable social features (friends, sharing, invitations) that you
choose to use;

process AI requests and return AI-generated outputs when you use AI
features;

send reminders and notifications if you opt in, including task
reminders and feature updates;

verify subscription status and provide access to paid features;
-
protect the Service, detect abuse, and enforce our terms; and
- comply with applicable laws and lawful requests.
3. How We Share Information
We may share information in the following ways:

Service providers. We use vendors to operate the
Service, including:

cloud backend and storage (for example, Supabase) to store user
content and account data;

push notification delivery (for example, Firebase Cloud
Messaging) to send notifications to your device;

subscription management (for example, Adapty) to verify
entitlements and manage premium access; and
-
AI providers (for example, Google Gemini APIs and OpenRouter) to
process prompts and images and generate AI outputs when you use
AI features. Depending on the feature, this may include the text you submit, images you provide, and limited device context such as language/locale and time zone. OpenRouter may act as a routing gateway to AI models (for example, Google Gemini).

Third-party content sources. If you use features
such as news aggregation or flight-price checking, we may access
third-party content sources or APIs (for example, RSS feed providers
or travel data APIs) using the inputs you provide.

Public or social sharing. If you choose to share
cards or links, your shared content may be visible to recipients,
friends, or anyone with the link depending on the sharing method you
choose.

Legal and safety. We may disclose information to
comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect the rights,
safety, and security of users and the Service.
4. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service,
comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce
agreements. If you request account deletion, we will delete or
de-identify personal information where feasible, subject to legal and
operational requirements (for example, backups or fraud prevention).
5. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures
to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage
is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your Choices
You can control certain information and features:

Permissions. You can grant or revoke permissions
(location, contacts, microphone, photos, notifications) in your
device settings.

Notifications. You can disable push notifications
in your device settings.

Social sharing. You control whether you connect
with friends and what you share.

AI features. You can choose whether to use AI
features; AI inputs are processed only when you submit them. You
can enable or disable AI data sharing in the app under Settings →
AI & Data Sharing.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct,
delete, or export certain personal information, and to object to or
restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact us at

8. International Transfers
We and our service providers may process and store information in
countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate
safeguards for international data transfers.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable
minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal
information from children. If you believe a child has provided us
information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are
material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use
of the Service after the effective date of an updated policy means you
accept the changes.
